An Alaska Seafood Festival was held in Shanghai from March 7-12, at the Nanpu Bridge and Wujiaochang Wal-Mart outlets. The promotion specifically featured Alaska halibut, king crab, snow crab, black cod and salmon. Decorations for the event included Alaska seafood posters, buntings and table tents. Interested customers were able to frequent the two-week long festival and walk away with insulated bags and recipe booklets as gift items. Awareness of the highlighted products grew throughout the event.
