Radisson Plaza Hotel Hangzhou has cooperated with ASMI several times in the past few years, the most recent being a menu promotion from July 10 to 28. Furthermore, it is also already familiar with Alaska seafood as it is used on a regular basis. Besides the Alaska snow crab, king crab and salmon that are already used during their daily operations, some new species and new promotional materials were suggested and provided to the hotel. An advertorial was placed in a local magazine, Du Shi Kuai Bao, to help promote the event. Resulting from the one-month activity, sales volume has been boosted by around 10% for the hotel. The Alaska seafood was very much welcomed by the customers and according to the chef, Alaska king crab was the most popular item among all the products featured in the event. After the activity, the hotel has considered increasing their amount of Alaska seafood in daily operations. As expected, the hotel was able to reach the sales goal set by ASMI before the festival started.
