Alaska Seafood Festival at Nan Yuan Hotel Ningbo



The two-month long Alaska Seafood Festival kicked off on July 10 and will last till September 10, at Vanilla Sky Restaurant of Nan Yuan Hotel Ningbo. This is the first time ASMI China has cooperated with Nan Yuan Hotel Ningbo, which is a 5-star hotel. Alaska king salmon, halibut, black cod, king crab and snow crab were featured during the promotional activity; all were included in the restaurant’s buffet. A special flyer, as well as banners featuring Alaska scenery were designed and produced for use in the festival. ASMI China also provides efficient POS materials for further decoration. One advertorial and one advertisement were published in local magazines; Hello Ningbo and ALA Traveler are the chosen publications. Hello Ningbo has a readership that is mostly made up of foreigners in Ningbo. ALA Traveler mainly focuses on the white-collar population of Ningbo society. Feedback from the chef at Vanilla Sky Restaurant has been nothing short of great. According to the chef, the Alaska seafood festival is a very popular event, with special interest and demand for Alaska king crab. The hotel has spoken highly of Alaska seafood since the promotion started and is strongly considering more species of Alaska seafood to be used in the future. The hotel is hoping for ASMI China to introduce more species of Alaska seafood to them so they can create newer and unique dishes for their customers.
