ASMI China is working with the Oceanwide Elite Hotel in Qingdao to host an Alaska Seafood Festival. The promotion is from July 28 to August 30, which also happens to be the high season for tourism in Qingdao. The hotel does already carry Alaska seafood year round in its Chinese restaurant. However, the promotion takes place at its Coastal Barbeque Bar. Alaska king crab, halibut, sockeye salmon and black cod are featured in their buffet. ASMI China provides POS materials, such as the buntings, table mats and posters to decorate the venue. In order to further support the promotion, an advertisement was placed in Qingdao Daily, the major newspaper in Qingdao.
