The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute held an “Alaska Seafood Festival” at Qingdao Oceanwide Elite Hotel in June 2006. Dishes prepared with Alaska seafood greatly increased consumer appetites. Posters, banners and table tents provided by the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute created an atmosphere full of Alaskan flavor. An advertisement placed in the Ban Dao News newspaper drew in many consumers. The promotion provided a good opportunity for guests to experience Alaska seafood’s natural, wild and pure attributes.
