In August 2005, ASMI participated in the ¡°American Food Festival¡± at JUSCO outlets in Guangdong province. The event was organized by ATO Guangdong. Wild Alaska salmon, king crab and halibut were featured during the festival. The product was showcased in a special refrigerator, allowing for easy visual access. Cooking demonstrations and the eye-catching counter attracted many consumers. The people of Guangdong were left with a better understanding of Alaska seafood¡¯s natural and healthy characteristics.
